Alas, my WIP does not have a “love at first sight” scene since my heroine is disguised as a boy for quit awhile. So I found a clip of the new Emma where Mr. Knightly professes his love for Emma. Not really a love at first sight either, but it’s a first declaration of love. Very nice. 🙂

Ahh! I want to watch– but I have only seen the first half of this Emma, and don't want to spoil it for myself! The temptation is sooo strong though!
I will resist! But I definitely think that moment of Knightley's admission qualifies for this blogfest. Because it is a moment of realization for both parties, and maybe that's what love at first sight is really– seeing through everything to one another's hearts?

I LOVE that movie. When I first started watching it I didn't think I'd like it, but all of sudden all these recognizable faces appeared who I didn't know where in the film, and then I just couldn't stop watching. It's really a good story, and I love that scene you shared in the video. Mr. Knightley makes my heart flutter. 🙂

A GREAT version of Emma. Loved it. But it was a slow, easy grow for a movie, instead of a love at first sight.
