I love the new year. I love the feeling of hope. Hope for something better. Don’t get me wrong, last year was great. I grew in faith. My family is healthy and happy. I am secure in Jesus.
Can it get any better?
Of course it can! It can always be better! I’m not doing any resolutions this year, but I have picked a ONE WORD for the year. My word for 2013 is…
I think Restore speaks to what I want for the new year. I want to restore my life to what it should be. I want to restore passion to my spirit. I want to restore health to my body. I want to restore order to my finances. I want to restore organization to my home. I want to restore fun to my creative nature.
I’d say the word restore says it all, doesn’t it? I even picked a verse for the year. Psalm 51:12
So how does one even begin to restore their life to what it should be…could be? Well, one step at a time. I think I need to simplify my life, making it easier to organize and keep up with. So I’ve redesigned my blog, and I am going to share my journey of restoring my life this year.
Here’s my new blog schedule:
Mondays: The restoration of my faith – my spiritual thoughts and what God is doing in me
Wednesdays: The restoration of my home, time and health – what I’m doing to organize my home and life
Fridays: The restoration of my creative self – sharing my DIYs, new recipes, photography with my NEW camera, and whatever I am creating.
There you have it! I’m excited about sharing some of the organization tools I have found! Can I just say…FREE PRINTABLES to get you organized??? Can’t wait!
So tell me, what are you hopeful for in this new year?
