This week was about covering up stuff you have already laid down on the page. I decided to gelli print my pages. I started off with red and orange, then gelli printed a turquoise with a stencil. I then started to lay down different colors for the border, then decided to cover it with black gesso and doodle over that with a silver pen. That was a good choice, because the silver pen picks up the light and really makes the pages “move”.

This was my first try at major doodling and I am really happy with the way it turned out. (Inspired by my niece, Courtney, who is a great doodler!) Also, the mandala in the middle was made by Shruti Dev.

Also, the scripture used is our focus at our church as we start the Lenten season. Ezekial 36: 26-27
