I did it. Actually, I did it over a month ago, but I haven’t really talked about it. And, it has consumed me to where I haven’t been blogging OR working in my art journal.

I opened up an Etsy shop!  Sherrinda’s Wordshop

It’s all part of my “BRAVE” word of the year. It’s such a funny thing to step out and do something that you are scared of doing. People kept telling me I should sell my stuff, but I play the comparison game and know good and well that I’m not at talented as others out there. That’s when I start doubting and basically shut down.

Living BRAVE has been scary, but it has be oh-so-invigorating. And liberating. And fun!

And the cool thing is, I’ve had 12 sales! Mostly journals, but I did sell 2 canvases. I find that absolutely mind-boggling.

I’m working on more Moleskine journals and they should be in the shop in another week. Also, I have plans for some scripture canvases, some envelope addressing styles, and even some digital prints to download.
